Last week, our 5th-grade students at Clayville Elementary had their graduation ceremony, and we are beyond proud of how far they have come! We hope they enjoy a relaxing, fun summer with their family and friends, and we will be looking forward to seeing them join the middle school next school year!







The last day of the HOSA-Future Health Professionals conference allowed students to explore Indianapolis. The group made its way to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to watch the race and explore the museum. The ninth year of Scituate HOSA's attendance at the International Leadership Conference came to a close, and we are excited to “Redefine the Standard” as we look forward to the new school year!

On day three of the HOSA-Future Health Professionals Leadership Conference, students attended recognition events, took part in 50th anniversary activities, competed, and attended workshops! During the evening hours, they attended the past Surgeon Generals’ Fireside Chat and Recognition Session. Rhode Island HOSA helped bring the HOSA Cup to the Eastern Region, and our very own Emilie Holmes from Brown University is now a member of the International Executive Council.

Congratulations to Cynthia Wulf for being selected for the Class of 2026 Spartan Pride Award! Cynthia was nominated for this award because of her positive attitude, compassion for others, and willingness to happily participate in class. She demonstrates a true Spartan Pride spirit, and we can't wait to see what she will accomplish next!

Congratulations to Bellah Torres for being selected for the Class of 2026 Spartan Pride Award! Bellah was a leader and inspiration to the drama group this year. She was a senior among all the freshmen. She embraced, guided, and made them feel comfortable, as well as made it a growth experience for the entire cast.
She took on a leadership role at the state level by taking on extra responsibilities to be on the student executive board of the Rhode Island Drama Festival, put on by the Rhode Island Theater Educator Association. At the state level, she earned an All-State Award for Acting and the Terry Murray Acting Award for Excellence. She spent extra time after rehearsal to help with planning for the next rehearsal. It was noted by her teachers that she has been a pleasure to have in classes, and they have enjoyed watching her confidence grow as she empowered others and herself. We are very proud of the things you have accomplished at SHS, and we know that you will achieve great things in your next chapter.

Day 2 of the International Leadership Conference was a success for Scituate HOSA-Future Health Professionals members. Students competed in events, attended workshops, and networked in the expo. Jill Hanson accepted the HOSA Happenings award for the school, and Scituate HOSA also placed in the following 50th anniversary recognition events:

Congratulations to Rylee Skodras for being selected for the Class of 2026 Spartan Pride Award! Rylee embodies the essence of Spartan Pride through her reliability, work ethic, and school spirit. A dedicated student with an impressive attendance record, she has also been a four-year participant in Unified Sports and the Special Olympics. Rylee’s presence has been felt across the school, whether she was showcasing her creativity in the Art department or fostering a positive environment in the classroom. Rylee has participated in every spirit week, dance, and many school events. Her friendly demeanor, work ethic, and active involvement in school traditions have made her a true Scituate Spartan! We know she will achieve great things!

With his positive attitude and approachable nature, he’s earned the respect of his peers and serves as an inspiring role model for younger students. During his time at Scituate, Jordan has been an exemplary student, a skilled and dedicated musician, and has always been thoughtful, kind, and supportive of his classmates. Congratulations to our North Scituate Elementary 5th-grade students! This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate their achievements at our 5th-grade promotion. We are so proud of everything they have accomplished, and we can't wait to see their smiling faces in the fall at Scituate Middle School!

Congratulations to Liliana Maggiacomo for being selected as a Class of 2026 Spartan Pride award winner. During her time at Scituate, Lily always showed up to class with a positive and uplifting attitude. She helped her fellow classmates and was a model student. What sets her apart is her reliability and sense of accountability. Lily can be trusted to follow through on expectations without needing to be reminded, and she takes initiative when opportunities arise. Her consistent behavior and positive influence on others make her highly deserving of this recognition. We know she will achieve great things!

Scituate Middle School Field Day was tons of fun! Students enjoyed a giant bouncy house, volleyball, frisbee, and many other games. It was a great way to spend the day after all of their hard work this school year.







Congratulations to Class of 2026 Spartan Pride award winner Burgandy Johnson! During her time at Scituate, Burgundy displayed amazing school spirit throughout her senior year. She participated in every event and really went all out for the dress-up days. She had a unique take on some of the themes, too! Her outfit for Country / Country Club Day was creative perfection. She could have walked off the set of Little House on the Prairie! She’s also an accomplished crocheter, often wearing her own cozy creations.

Congratulations to Annette Hartley for being selected as a Class of 2026 Spartan Pride award winner. Nettie has always been incredibly involved in the Scituate School community. She is an ambassador for the school, a voice for her peers, and a true key asset to the entire Scituate community. She is described by her teachers as humble, outgoing, thoughtful, and kind. When challenged, she does her best rather than shy away, and she does it with a smile. She actively and proudly works to improve herself and those around her through her academic and extracurricular efforts. We are excited to see the things Nettie will accomplish in her future!

North Scituate's field day was a ton of fun in the sun! Thank you to our parent volunteers and staff who helped make this day such a great time for students. Students enjoyed outdoor games, snow cones, and time with friends!




Congratulations to our Hope Kindergarteners who will be moving on to first grade next school year! They have come so far since the start of this school year, and we are so proud of each and every one of them! Students did a fantastic job performing songs for their families, and we enjoyed seeing smiles on everyone's faces.
